As your local Member of Parliament, I have the opportunity to make 60-second statements in the NSW Parliament to recognise and congratulate individuals and groups within our community.

These are known as Community Recognition Statements and are a meaningful way to highlight the contributions, achievements and milestones of people across the Bega electorate.

They may be used to acknowledge a wide range of accomplishments, including:

community service and volunteer contributions

sporting achievements

academic success

cultural or artistic accomplishments

significant milestones or events
