Southern NSW Local Health District is also hoping the Eurobodalla community will get behind the campaign and support this recruitment drive by spreading the word among family, friends, and networks. Community members are urged to share and talk about the campaign and help generate word of mouth momentum.
More than 160 additional positions will be offered across a number of areas, including:
- Aboriginal health
- allied health
- anaesthetics
- biomedical engineering.
- corporate and support services
- emergency medicine
- general medicine
- general surgery
- mental health
- nursing and midwifery
- obstetrics and gynaecology
- pharmacy
As part of the campaign, interested individuals are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest form, to be kept informed and receive direct communications about roles as they become available.
This campaign is in addition to active recruitment already underway for general physicians, junior medical officers, paediatricians, and paediatric clinical nursing positions. A number of key positions have been appointed, including an Intensive Care Unit Director, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Manager, and Nurse Unit Managers.
All existing staff at Batemans Bay and Moruya hospitals will transition to the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital.
The new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital will be larger than both the current Batemans Bay and Moruya hospitals combined, delivering expanded services to help meet the growing health care needs of Southern NSW communities.
The NSW Government’s $330 million Eurobodalla Regional Hospital development includes a new Intensive Care Unit, an expanded Emergency Department, increased access to chemotherapy and renal dialysis, new operating theatres and day surgery unit, ambulatory care, paediatrics, maternity and special care nursery, mental health and specialist services, and the district’s first MRI.
