We’re getting on with the job of building the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital and we’re also delivering the new Batemans Bay Community Health Service next to the new Medicare Urgent Care Clinic. 

MORE HEALTH WORKERS

Bricks and mortar are just the first step. We’re making sure we have the health workers needed to run our hospitals. That starts by improving pay and conditions - with the largest pay rise for health workers in over a decade.

In just two years, in our local health district alone we’ve recruited an additional 125 nurses, 16 doctors, 28 paramedics, and 34 allied health professionals.

We’re also introducing Safe Nurse Staffing Levels at Moruya and South East Regional Hospitals.  

We still have a lot more to do and I’ll keep working to deliver the local health services you deserve.
