I love this time of year – a chance to relax and spend time with friends and family while enjoying good food and good company. Here on the Far South Coast we’re spoilt by our incredible fresh produce including our award-winning oysters, wines, gins and cheeses, as well as our stunning coastline and national parks. We’re the envy of NSW as we’ll see once again when we’re joined by thousands of visitors over the summer. But as beautiful as our region is, it’s our community spirit that is really the jewel in the crown.
Throughout December I’ve seen this on display as I’ve attended end of year school presentations, award ceremonies, annual general meetings and Christmas celebrations. Across our region I’ve met so many dedicated professionals, community leaders, volunteers, Elders and students – each bringing their own energy and passion to our community. We are all truly fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, surrounded by so many caring and dynamic people.
As we come to the end of 2023, I’m also taking the opportunity to pause and reflect on the year that was and plan for the year ahead. It is an incredible honour to represent you all as your Local Member and I’m looking forward to all we’ll continue to achieve together next year.
Christmas Holiday Office Closure
Over the Christmas period, my office will be closed from Friday 22nd December 2023 and will re-open on Monday 8th January 2024.
